FEES

$5 flat fee for first 200 pounds: 2.25 cents per pound for all refuse over 200 pounds.  A 30-trip pass (no expiration date) may be purchased for $135 ($120 for residents 60+). Only cash or checks or pass accepted.  All passenger cars should stop at the booth and pay. Pickups, trucks and vans must pass over the scales.


RECYCLE AT THE LANDFILL

No.1 and 2 plastic bottles and jugs (no bags, magazines, corrugated cardboard, motor oil, anti-freeze, car batteries, scrap metal, yard waste, white paper, tires, magazines, phone books (November to mid-December only), newspapers, plastic bottles, glass bottles, tin cans, yard waste, aluminum cans (Reynolds truck).

RECYCLE AT CURB AND IGLOOS

Glass, aluminum cans only, tin, steel and and bi-metal cans, plastic bottles, newspapers (bagged or tied), household batteries.  There are 23 locations throughout the county, call 792-4670 for nearest location.
