Historic Manassas Inc.
A nonprofit organization supporting Old Towne
Manassas and its revitalization. Through October the group
sponsors a Farmers Market Thursdays and Saturdays from 7
a.m. to noon at the Gazebo parking lot. The group also
sponsors an annual all Jubilee, the Christmas Parade and Old
Town Merchants Open House and the Merchants Open House and
the Manassas Railway Festival.
Historic Prince William Inc.
A citizens group working to preserve and protect historic
resources of the county. Group meets the third Thursday of
the month from September through June at 7:30 p.m. at the
McCoart Administration Center.
Prince
William County Genealogical Society
To encourage and organize genealogical research through
education and publication and to promote the preservation of
genealogical records and resources
of Prince William County.
Center For The Arts
Presents year-round classes in the arts, drama, music and
creative writing for all ages, local artists exhibits and
recitals. It also sponsors The Pied Piper Children’s Theater,
Theater Day Camp and the Shakespeare Adventure Workshop for teens
in the evenings.

Run Cloggers
Promotes, encourages and teaches the folk art dance of
clogging a fast paced, hand clapping, country-style dance done to
a variety of music from bluegrass to modern country. Classes and
performances available.

Present performances of traditional American Barbershop
singing with small ensembles and large choruses.

Branch Quilters
Promotes excellence and proficiency in the art of
quilting through workshops, exhibits, demonstrations
and the sharing of information.
Castaways
Repertory Theater
Year round programming of theater, produces drama, comedy,
melodrama and children’s shows. Offers a variety of
presentations to expand theatrical experience and challenge
creativity of actors and audiences.

Art Guild
Encourages dialogue among artists, students, craftsmen and
others engaged in artistic activities:
promotes exhibits, juried competition and workshops.
Call for schedules of juried art
shows and the Christmas Mart.
Manassas
Dance Company
A professional ballet dance company with a
full season of ballet performances. Provides for
aspiring dancers to train and perform with the highest
quality professional Dancers.
The
NOVA/Manassas Community Orchestra
On behalf of the board of
Directors of the NOVA/Manassas Community Orchestra, I would like
to welcome you to our new concert season. The orchestra is
entering its 9th year and continues to grow in size and talent.
We look forward to another outstanding concert season, featuring
our guest conductor, James A. Villani. David Mathers is taking a
one-year sabbatical and will return for the 2003-2004 season. As
a community, we hope you will take pride in this orchestra, just
as we, the Board, take pride in presenting them to you. I want to
thank all of our advertisers, contributors, and patrons for their
generous support of this community endeavor. Without the
generosity of the community, this orchestra could not exist. In
addition, the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community
College receives our gratitude and thanks for their "behind the
scenes" assistance and promotion.

City Arts and Crafts Clubs
This club of about100 members promotes participation in and
awareness of the arts and crafts: encourages high standard
of design in all fields of the arts. It offers bimonthly
workshops to members and four annual craft shows. The
club meets on the fourth Wednesday each month at 7:30 p.m. at
the Hillendale Avenue fire department.

Locally produced children’s theater. Saturday morning

Generally holds its annual International Festival during the
second week of October, featuring foods, music and exhibits.
Each month the campus usually presents
a free foreign film Festival the
third Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Youth
Orchestras of Prince William
Offers training and performances for area student musicians
in four orchestras from September to May. Students
are encouraged to audition for orchestra placement.
Suzuki classes are also Available.
NOVA Woodbridge
Hold a and International Week in April featuring foods
and musical performances by students. Drama students perform
a play or musical, generally during the first two weekends
of April to headline the Festival of the Arts.
Potomac
Ballet School and Company
To enhance the cultural interests in the community, established a school of dance and dance company. Will
perform for civic institutions and
educate children.
Prince
William Chorale
Provides a musical outlet for participants and sponsors the
Junior Prince William Chorale.
Prince
William Community Band
Accepts players of all experience and ability levels. They
play a wide range of Music, from Broadway show
tunes, to standards, to classical. For rehearsal and Concert
information.
Prince
William Little Theater
Provides opportunities to participate in theatrical
experience (both performing and technical work), offering
musical and dramatic entertainment to the community.
Meetings are held the first Sunday
of the month.

William Symphony Orchestra
Celebrating its 25th season, this
professional orchestra led by conductor
Carl Long, performs at least five concerts in its
regular season including last season’s
collaboration of the "Nutcracker" with the
Manassas Dance Company, and offers many small ensemble
performances. They also support master classes and workshops, in local schools.

Crow Productions
Professional theatre company specializing in Shakespeare and
other classics. Performances are held at the Cramer Center.
Woodbridge
Art Guild
Provides activities and instruction for all artists and
craftsman through exhibits, workshops and demonstrations. The
Guild sponsors several art shows a year. Monthly meetings
including workshops and demonstrations are free to all
non-members. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third
Tuesday each month at Canterbury Woods Community Center

Community Choir
Offers as season of admission free choral concerts for the
community, while providing vocal training For
the participants.

Sponsors competitions and recitals as well
as monthly meetings, lectures and
workshops. Offers a music teacher referral Service
to the public.

Youth Chorale
Provides local children an opportunity to participate in
various choral and musical activities that promote vocal
skills, drama and choreography training, culminating
