Alexandria Archeology Museum
See archaeologists at work reconstructing Alexandria's past,
fragment by fragment. When you step into the museum's

also one of the country's oldest ongoing preservation
projects. Explore more than 40 acres of gardens and

Woodlawn Plantation &
Frank Lloyd Wright's Pope Leighey House

to his foster daughter and nephew. Eleanor Park Custis and
Lawrence Lewis, in 1799. Today's Woodlawn is furnished in
the style of that period with Lewis family possessions. Also on

designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and relocated to this site in
1964.

adjacent Pavilions of Turkey Run are available for rental and
include a large playing field, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits,
a nature trail and modern restroom. Open April through mid
